Announcing Nikolai Schatz - Alpen Schatz's Newest Addition

Hallo! My name is Nikolai...

or to be "official"

Oleka's Schneebär Nikolai Schatz

I was born on the Winter Solstice along with 9 other fine strapping baby Berner siblings. My breeder, Angela and Joe Evans - Oleka Bernese, lives in Oley, Pennsylvania on a real mushroom farm

so I got to learn true Berner work ethics from a very young age :)

When the time came, my new Mommy came out to meet me

 and I got the adventure of getting to fly on TWO airplanes 

to get me safely to my new home

in a snowy Telluride, Colorado.

I am a goofball at times, with extra large ears...

and extra large paws.

I love playing "coy" in the snow,

and helping my big Brother, DaVinci, out at

 our Swiss shop called Alpen Schatz

I tend to smile all of the time,

because I am a happy pup...

And my Mommy...

and others I meet

all seem to love me to bits

  

and of course me them back!

Holiday TRUNK SHOW in SANTA FE

Alpen Schatz will be in SANTA FE this weekend to host a trunk show at a beautiful pet boutique, TECA TU, who carry our European pet accessories.

We will be bringing a whole trunk load of Alpine goodies to show and tell and sell :)

The Trunk Show will take place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, November 29 2014 - perfect timing to get that beloved pet of yours his or her new collar or to find that perfect gift for a friend or family member's pooch.

Well, gotta get on the road...

Whether Bernese Lover, Dog Lover or Lover of Alpine Accessories, you are invited to join us, Alpen Schatz, where we will be exhibiting for a whole week just north of Denver, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Loveland Colorado. The event is free and open to anyone.

We have been a loyal supporter of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America's largest event of the year - its National Specialty Show - for over a decade and we have always enjoyed greeting old and new Alpen Schatz fans during this exciting week.

Hosted each year in a different location across the US, this year's event will take place in the scenic state of Colorado.

The Specialty Show hosts a number of fun events, including Draft, Agility, Conformation, Canine Good Citizen, Rally-O, Health Clinics and much more.

Alpen Schatz will be vending ring-side and will have many of its Alpen Schatz items for sale, including our fine European Dog Collars, Steins, Alpine jewelry, Dirndls, Lederhosen and much, much more!
